Zhao Yan, Associate Professor of School of Foreign Language and Interpreting and Cultural Communication, Master's Degree in English Language and Literature, Doctoral Degree in Translation and Literature from Shanghai International Studies University (SISU), and Senior Visiting Scholar of California State University (Monterey Bay), USA. She is a member of Shanghai Association of Scientific and Technical Translation and Interpreting, and a member of Chinese and Western Language and Philosophy Association. Her main research interests include Translation and Interpreting, International Communication, and Philosophy of Language. She has been engaged in teaching English Language and Interpreting for a long time, and is the main lecturer in the courses of "Literature Search", "Scientific and Technical Translation", "English for Graduate Students", "English Speech and Debate" and so on. He teaches courses such as "Document Search", "Scientific and Technical Translation", "English for Graduate Students", and "English Speech and Debate". He has published 4 translations of "Leadership DNA", "Turtle Trading", "How the United States of America is Made", "Song of Life", etc. She has also edited and co-edited 3 academic books, "Encyclopediaof Linguistics and Applied Linguistics", "New Genealogy of LegacyRhymes: Shanghai Intangible Cultural Heritage List", "Literature and Translation and Interpreting Research in Intercultural Perspectives"; and participated in the preparation of the reference books of teaching,"Advanced Oral and Interpretation", "TEM-4 English Proficiency Level 4" and "English Language Proficiency Level 5". TEM-4 English Language and Literature Exam Simulation Test Set" and"Business English Study Guidebook". She has published a total of 13 high-level academic papers on Translation and Interpreting in important academic journals at home and abroad, including 1 CSSCI paper, 2 CSSCI Extended Edition journals, and 3 Peking University core journals. She has presided overand participated in 13 research and teaching projects.
